Book tour: Fossil by Maya Chowdhry

This month we published Fossil, the exciting new chapbook by Inscribe-supported writer Maya Chowdhry. Maya, who lives and works in Manchester, is an interactive artist who works across disciplines. Fossil explores the impact of human activity on climate change though a post-colonial lens and from the perspective of all life on earth including plants, creatures, elements and inanimate objects.

Save the Date: Narrating the Caribbean Nation 2017

Narrating the Caribbean Nation will be at Leeds University 24-25 February 2017. The Friday evening will feature readings and performances by Peepal Tree's writers, and the Saturday conference will bring together readers, writers, academics and publishers for round table discussions and presentations. Kwame Dawes (Peepal Tree's associate poetry editor) is our keynote speaker.

The conference will be followed by a fabulous after party in Leeds celebrating over 30 years of Peepal Tree Press!
